Digestive System

In a hadith , the Prophet mengatakakan that most human diseases originating from the stomach . Until now, medical experts do not yet have an agreement on the definition of ' belly ' as mentioned hadith of the Prophet Muhammad . Most of them argue that the meaning of ' belly ' in the hadith is the digestive system . This is because the human edible food into the body through the digestive system .

Meanwhile, in view of the herbalist , who is ' belly ' as mentioned in the hadith is more directed to the colon ( large intestine ) . In this organ often occurs buildup leftovers ( feces ) , which in turn could trigger the emergence of various diseases .
These two arguments do not actually need to be a debate , because there is common ground between the two . We already know that the gut is one of the important organs in the human digestive system .

KNOW Digestive System
Functioning digestive system change food into energy needed to nurture , care for and support the development and health of the human body . This process begins with the mouth and ends at the large intestine to continue dumping food scraps that are not required by the body through the anus .

Organs are important in the digestive system are :
  1. mouth
  2. Pharynx (landslide)
  3. Esophagus (gullet)
  4. Gastric (stomach)
  5. small intestine
  6. The large intestine (colon)
FOOD DIGESTION PROCESS
Broadly speaking, the digestive system in the human body is divided into two , namely mechanical digestion carried out mainly in the mouth and digestive biological ( kiniawi ) were performed in the small intestine .

The process of digestion begins in the mouth . This is where food is digested mechanically Seara . Teeth are in the mouth serves to destroy and crush food . Turning the tongue function and swallowing food . Mouth salivate containing ptialin which helps the pulping process food
.
Mechanical digestion in the mouth is a big influence on the digestion of food which will be done in the small intestine . The more perfect digestion carried out the mouth , the more simplify and lighten the digestion in the small intestine . Likewise goes for the opposite , the more imperfect pencernan performed mouth , the more difficult of digestion in the small intestine . That the Prophet encourages us to chew food 33 times . This is done in order to perfect the process of digestion in the mouth so that the food is in a state completely before swallowing kerongkaongan creamed .

After experiencing digestion in the mouth , the food is swallowed with saliva then onwards went into the pharynx ( throat ) and passed into the esophagus ( gullet ) . In these organs do not undergo digestion of food but just missed .

Furthermore, the food goes into the stomach ( gastric ) . The stomach will secrete acidic enzymes known as stomach acid . Stomach acid is used to kill germs that come inside with food .

Furthermore the food into the small intestine . In this organ biologically digested food . Among the enzymes were very instrumental in helping digestion in the small intestine enzymes pepsin and renin . Enzyim - enzyme serves to change the food into a form that is more gentle called ' chyme ' . Food scraps that are not useful to be streamed to the large intestine ( colon ) and then disposed of in the form of stool ( feces ) through the anus . While in nutrients needed by the body flows into the liver . Here saris are screened again . Nutrients are good and useful will be distributed throughout the body via the blood , while the food substances that are not useful to be scrapped .
